"Weeping virgin" draws miracle-seekers to Paris...
Scores of Christians have been flocking to a house in the Paris suburbs to see an image of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus which its owners claim has been "weeping" oily tears. Esas Altindagoglu, who gave the picture to his wife as a birthday present in 2006, says it's drawn between 50 and 60 miracle-seekers per day, with many coming from as far as Belgium and Germany. Family members say the oily liquid began seeping from the eyes of the Virgin Mary in early February. Visitors have since been coming to the house in Garges-les-Gonesse in growing numbers, bringing cotton pads to collect a few precious drops.
