Eyewitness Video of New York City Explosion Shows Initial Chaos
Twelve people were injured when a building exploded and collapsed in the East Village of New York City on March 26. Three of the injured were in critical condition, according to local reports.
This eyewitness video shows the scene after the explosion until the fire broke out.
NYPD officials told CBS New York early indications are that it was a gas explosion.
One Killed, Three Injured in Texas Crash That Brought Down Bridge
One person was killed and three more were injured after a car crash that brought down a bridge overpass on I-35 near Salado, Texas on March 26. A tractor-trailer truck hit the overpass, which brought down beams that hit other verhicles on the highway, according to local media. One of the other vehicles caught fire. The overpass was under construction at the time of the crash.
The Ohio River crested at 58 feet on March 15, a level that hadn’t been seen since 1997. It caused flooding along the river in both Ohio and Kentucky. This video, which was shot on March 18, shows the flooding at Coney Island, Riverbend and Belterra Park in Ohio. The National Weather Service reported the park was mostly under water. Tornado 'Chases' Man on Drive Through Sand Springs
A powerful tornado landed about two miles west of a trailer park in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Wednesday night, cutting a path that left one person dead and two seriously injured.
The tornado unfurled more than four funnels as it passed, missing the city, but leaving chaos in its wake.
Other weaker twisters were seen in Moore and Tulsa on Wednesday.
