Rioters set fire to vehicles and clashed with police in the Indian district of Singapore, known as "'Little India'":http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/12/09/us-singapore-riot-idUSBRE9B802Y20131209, on Sunday, December 9. The violent outbreak followed the death of an Indian worker who was hit and killed by a bus reportedly driven by a Singaporean. The violence is the first outbreak of rioting in 40 years in the wealthy Asian state and has stoked tensions between migrant workers and the country's citizens.

Shark Caught by Fishermen on Beach in Western Australia
Fishermen beach angling off the coast of Coral Bay in Western Australia snagged themselves the biggest of unexpected catches on December 5, after hooking a 400KG tiger shark.
